Top 4-How a Woman run over 3 times by own car

 

TROIS-RIVIERES, Que. — A newspaper deliverywoman was somehow run over three times by her own car during a botched parking job Wednesday morning.  It happened in Trois-Rivieres, Que., about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, her newspaper said on its website. The woman confused "park" and "reverse" on her gear shifter prior to exiting the car, according to Le Nouvelliste newspaper. The door struck her and she fell to the ground, where the car passed over her leg. She twice managed to get up and try to grab the wheel but tumbled both times, with the car running over her leg a second and third time. The deliverywoman finally gave up and limped to a nearby house to call for help.All the while, her driverless car continued to circle in reverse. Police officers arrived and managed to stop the out-of control car. The woman was taken to hospital with severe leg injuries

ARTANA, Spain, May 23 (UPI) -- Police in Spain said a woman took $1,032 from her son's bar, lost it in a gambling machine and concocted a story of a robbery to cover up the theft. Investigators said the 56-year-old woman told police she was cleaning up at the bar in Artana when two men broke in, attacked her and took two days' worth of profits, think SPAIN reported Thursday. Police said inconsistencies in the woman's story made them suspicious and she eventually confessed to making up the story of the robbery. The woman said she had lost all of the profits in a gambling machine and used facial injuries from a tumble down the stairs to back up her false robbery report. The woman was arrested on a charge of simulating a crime for financial gain.

A naked man chopped off his penis with a kitchen knife in the street in front of horrified onlookers. The distressed 43-year-old ran down a road before he cut himself and went back into a property. Police said: “Officers gained entry and found it necessary to restrain him to carry out first aid.”The man, of Penryn, Cornwall, was taken to hospital on Friday evening with serious injuries that were not life threatening. It is thought he may have mental health issues.

A US food vendor has been fired after being filmed taking a tray of snow cones into a bathroom and putting it on the floor while using the facilities. The fan who shot the footage shared the video, filmed at the home of baseball's Houston's Astros at Minute Maid Park, with the local NBC affiliate, which aired a report on Wednesday night. The person who filmed the incident told Local 2 that he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "This guy is taking a dump. There’s no doubt about it. What sane person could possibly think, yeah this is a good idea. I’ll just put the food that I’m about to sell on the floor,” he said.
In his first day in the job Astros president Reid Ryan said he was happy with the response."The Astros were notified immediately by our partner ARAMARK of the incident involving a vendor on Monday night. We commend the swift reaction displayed by ARAMARK of terminating the employee immediately upon learning of the incident that evening."
