Top 4-Houston woman doesn't want to go on camera, so TV station films her crotch

World's Top Five Weird, Funny and Hot News of this week
HOUSTON, April 24 (UPI) -- When a Houston TV station was reporting about six teenagers and some adults who were arrested for allegedly breaking into a house to steal lawn equipment and electronics, they found a female witness who was willing to talk about the incident -- as long as her face wouldn’t be shown. Based on what happened afterward, she may wish she just went on camera. In the video, which has since been removed from KPRC’s website, the camera was trained on the woman's crotch as a reporter conducted an interview. During the piece, the woman’s hands can be seen “gesturing over her crotch to lead the news package.” There was also a close-up. Although it’s unclear why the station specifically chose to remove the video, the Houston Press blog speculates that “maybe the anti-camel toe lobby sent them a cease and desist” order.

Top 3-Why Topless woman walks into mayor's office

World's Top Five Weird, Funny and Hot News of this week
NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - A topless woman walked straight into the mayor’s office in Niagara Falls, Ont., around noon Thursday. Mayor Jim Diodati said he wasn't in his office at the time and the topless woman talked to his staff, and left on her own. Visitors normally have to buzz in to reach the mayor's office, but Diodati said some work was being done so the doors were left opened. "She's a sex-trade worker and she has been in before to discuss challenges for her and her situation in her industry," he said. He said whenever the woman has come to city hall in the past, he was not there. "She lives at a motel in town and I've called and left her a message at the motel. When I leave a message, I leave a date (indicating when he called). We've never had a chance to discuss her concerns."
Diodati said although city hall does not handle sex-trade worker issues, he doesn't like to ignore his constituents who like to take their concerns to the mayor. "They insist on talking to the mayor. It added a little excitement to the day. No one (in the mayor's office) ever remembers this happening before.

World's Top Five Weird, Funny and Hot News of this week
APRIL 24--While napping on a flight from London to San Francisco, a female traveler was molested by a fellow passenger who placed his hand down the woman’s shirt and groped her for about five minutes, prosecutors allege. The victim was aboard British Airways Flight 285 last Tuesday when she was assaulted by Vinay Pochampally, according to a U.S. District Court criminal complaint. The molestation occurred about two hours into the flight. The female passenger was seated in row 37, behind which was a “bulkhead of the galley and restroom area.” During the flight, Pochampally, who was assigned a seat in row 36 of the Boeing 747, “positioned himself in the gap behind row 37 and in front of the bulkhead,” reported FBI Agent Bianca Betz in a sworn affidavit. “While in that gap, Pochampally inserted his hand, palm-side down, into the shirt of the sleeping female passenger,” noted Betz. Pochampally’s hand was “underneath the passenger’s shirt and undergarments for approximately four to five minutes, making skin-to-skin contact in the breast and upper chest area,” added Betz. A section of a Boeing 747 seating chart can be seen at right.
When the victim awoke, Pochampally--who was reportedly intoxicated--quickly removed his hand from her shirt and ran away down the plane’s aisle. According to the criminal complaint, “multiple passengers witnessed the incident” and told crew members what occurred. British Airways workers confronted Pochampally upon learning of the molestation incident and directed him to move to a different seat for the remainder of the 10-hour trip.

PORTLAND, Ore., April 16 (UPI) -- An Oregon woman whose hair used to reach her backside has filed a $10,000 lawsuit against Walmart for selling a shampoo that allegedly caused her hair to get so tangled she was forced to cut most of it. According to Jennifer Fahey's suit, the bottle of “Equate Everyday Clean Dandruff Shampoo” she bought at a Portland Walmart caused her hair to become impossibly entangled in seconds. “She was not able to remove the knots and as a result she had to cut a large portion of her hair from the top and back of her head,” the suit states. According to Fahey’s attorney, William Ball, the 30-year-old woman had to cut off a few feet of hair, leaving her with about four inches, a loss he called “devastating.” The suit, which was filed Monday in Multnomah County Circuit Court, also names shampoo maker Vi-Jon as a defendant. Fahey’s is seeking the $10,000 for "past, present and future physical and emotional pain and suffering, anxiety, humiliation and embarrassment, expenses for replacement hair, along with diminished and lost wages” as well as the “loss of life’s pleasures and activities.”

Someone has stolen a bridge in Kane Township, Illinois. The 20-foot-long, 10-foot-wide wood and Iron Bridge was likely removed as one piece, police told the Journal Courier newspaper. It wasn't noticed immediately because it is used infrequently by farmers to gain access to their properties. "We've had street signs and stop signs stolen," Greene County Sheriff Rob McMillen told the newspaper. "But to go to the extent of taking a bridge from a road "¦ you don't see that happen." Someone noticed the bridge was missing and reported it to police. McMillen said he believes the bridge was stolen in March. An officer who answered the phone at the sheriff's office confirmed the story is true, but was unable to provide further details. Stealing a bridge is a felony because the bridge is government-owned. Kane Township is 90 km north of St. Louis, Mo.

APRIL 16--An Arkansas gynecologist is facing video voyeurism charges after he allegedly used his cell phone to take nude photos of patients during office exams. Police began investigating Paul Becton, Jr. earlier this month after a patient told cops that she was concerned that the 68-year-old doctor “produced his cellular telephone and took photographs of her pubic region and buttocks” during an office visit, according to an arrest affidavit. Becton is seen in the adjacent photo from his web site, which notes that he has practiced for over 30 years and is “very knowledgeable in the latest surgical techniques and women's health issues.”Armed with a search warrant, Arkansas State Police investigators seized Becton’s phone during an April 10 visit to his office in Paragould, a city about 20 miles northeast of Jonesboro.

A subsequent analysis of Becton’s phone revealed “numerous images of nude females that appear to have been taken in a medical office during medical examinations.” The photos were found “in the deleted images within the hard-drive” of the phone.Investigators also noted that, “Also recovered during the examination were what appear to be photographs of the victim who reported this incident” to Paragould cops. The woman subsequently identified five “nude photographs that were taken without her knowledge or consent.”Becton, who maintains a private OB/GYN practice at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, has been charged with five felony voyeurism counts related to the naked images of the woman who contacted police.

Why a Teen caught copulating in lobby?

NILES , Ill., April 7 (UPI) -- An Illinois couple who apparently didn’t have access to the backseat of car decided to get down to business in a fairly questionable area -- the lobby of a condo building. A resident of the Niles condo building walked in on the couple having sex on a chair in the lobby a little after 5:30 p.m. The 44-year-old woman yelled at the teenagers and told them to “stop what they were doing and leave.” The boy, who is believed to be between 16 and 18 years old, then got up from the chair and pushed the woman against the wall. “But we don’t have any place to have sex,” he reportedly told the woman, according to the Niles Herald-Spectator. The teens ran out of the building and Niles police officers were unable to find them. It’s possible that the condo board will now have a security camera installed in the lobby.

April fool day type some weird, unusual car claims (LOL)

Some weird, unusual car claims

Wish you all a happy April fool days. To have little fun I have found some weird and funny car claims.

1. My car was attacked by a tree

That sums up the car insurance claim from a man who was driving home after a Christmas shopping spree. A Christmas tree came loose from a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction and smashed into his car. Since the culprits didn’t stop, the police allowed the victim to keep the tree as a present!

2 Spoiled Baby formula milk as refrigerator broke down

Baby formula is expensive and must be kept cool. So when a refrigerator broke down, spoiling all the precious liquid inside it, one woman decided to make a claim under her homeowner’s insurance. We hope the baby did not suffer too much from the incident and is doing well.

3. Overexcited animals attack her car

On her return from a visit to a zoo where the animals move around freely as cars drive through, one mother filed a claim after her vehicle was the target of an all-out attack by some overexcited animals. The story has it that the mom in question had wanted her children to see the animals up close and so had rubbed her car with red meat!

4. Sinking of the Titanic claims

The tragedy of the sinking of the Titanic resulted in numerous claims from survivors. One of the highest-value claims was from a lady who asked for $1 million to compensate for the loss of her husband, a theatre producer in New York. Some say that even the shipping company wouldn’t have received that much to cover the loss of their famous liner. In a more modest quest for compensation, another survivor of the vessel sought $100 and $200 respectively for his two dogs, one of which he apparently valued more than the other.

5. Car was dented by a dog’s tail

One insurer received a claim for compensation after the side of a claimant’s car was dented by … a dog’s tail. The Great Dane was so excited at the prospect of a car ride that she expressed her enthusiasm by frantically wagging her tail — a little too close to the vehicle!

6. Camera buried in sand on a beach

Consider the case of an insurer who receives a claim for the replacement of an electronic device that was deliberately buried in the sand on a beach. Unlikely you think? That’s exactly what happened when two young children decided to bury the family’s video camera to keep it safe while they went for a short swim. The problem is that they were
unable to find it again … so we’ll never know if it still works.

7. Camel kick car

Take the gardener who, buying plants at a local nursery, exited the store just in time to see a passing camel kick and damage his car.

8. Accidentally caught the camel footage

While the man was trying to explain the situation to his insurance company, a local television crew just happened to be in the area filming nearby and accidentally caught the camel footage on camera—corroborating the man's story for his insurer.

9. Dog barked suddenly

Another woman filed with her insurance company, claiming she hit the car in front of her because it "barked suddenly." Apparently, the other driver's dog, riding in the rear window of the car, had decided to "speak" loudly, startling the driver behind and causing the collision.

10. Car had scratched both sides

- A male motorist called to lodge a claim for damage to both sides of his vehicle. He claimed two cars had scratched both sides of his car while parked. However on further investigation the insurer found the man had driven down a one-way street and misjudged the distance between two parked trucks, one on either side of the road. He had managed to wedge his vehicle between them.

And there are many other strange incidents that have given rise to insurance claims —
- a wig that caught fire during a barbecue,
-dentures eaten by a dog,
-stolen garbage and the list go on.
Although they may seem far-fetched, such requests are always taken seriously by insurers and carefully assessed; taking into account the good faith of the claimants and the kind of coverage they carry.
