JAMTLAND, Sweden, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Perhaps they should have tried the brown -- or light green -- market, instead. Swedish police said they arrested two men accused of attempting to smuggle more than 25,000 diapers from Norway to eastern Europe. Investigators said the Lithuanian nationals, whose identities were not released, were stopped by police in Jamtland, and officers soon discovered their van was hauling 25,175 fresh disposable diapers.Police said the diapers were purchased in Norway, where diapers cost less than $1 apiece, and were likely designed for the black market in eastern Europe, where the products can retail for considerably more money. Stefan Fredriksson of the Jamtland police told the Expressen newspaper the smugglers failed to disclose the contents of their van when they crossed the border. "They did not report that they were transporting the goods across the border from Norway to Sweden. You are accountable to report it to customs and pay the duty fee," Fredriksson said

Why city is selling State of Kansas selling sex toys?

TOP 5 Weird, Funny and sizzling world trending news of this week
A sex toy auction is being held so the State of Kansas can recoup back taxes it was stiffed for by an erotica entrepreneur. The government is hoping to cash in after it seized thousands of sex toys and paraphernalia from a company that owes more than $160,000 in back taxes, cjonline.com reports. The owner of the delinquent company, United Outlets LLC operating under the name Bang, was given back the sexy inventory that was seized in July so he could hold an online auction to make repayments. The inventory -- including "premium" vibrators, books, DVDs, lingerie and kinky cuffs seized from five adult stores -- is for public viewing in a warehouse Monday and the auction is Tuesday. "What is different is the titillation factor of what we're selling," cjonline quotes Jeannine Koranda, spokesman for the Kansas revenue department. "This is an unusual lot of items."

PETERBOROUGH - Drivers doing the right thing are being rewarded thanks to a partnership between city police and local businesses who have joined forced to combat distracted driving. The campaign, which began last Thursday, provides positive reinforcement in the form of a coupon for a free buffet lunch valid at Pizza Hut locations in Peterborough and Lindsay and education via two information booklets focusing on the dangers of using a phone while driving.
Const. John MacLeod, who has already pulled over six drivers as of Wednesday for doing good things such as pulling over to talk on their phone or text, said its been fun to hear their comments as they at first believe they have done something wrong. “When I give them the package, they are dumbfounded. They can't believe it,” he said during a media launch at Pizza Hut on Lansdowne St. W. Traffic Sgt. Jeff Chartier noted that a vehicle travelling 100 km/h covers the length of a football field in two seconds, the time someone may spend looking down at their phone. “That's a significant distance,” he said, calling injuries “inevitable” in a collision at that speed. Distracted driving involves visual, manual and mental components, Chartier said. “Texting and driving involves all three of those distractions...we hope this will have a positive impact on road safety.”Since January, the traffic unit has conducted 22 details such as speed and seatbelt enforcement, during which 703 Provincial Offence Notices were issued. Of those, some 27% were for distracted drivers using their cell phones.

ZURICH - A secretary who posted nude pictures of herself in the Swiss parliament to more than 11,000 followers on Twitter told a newspaper on Wednesday she did not believe she had broken any rules. Many of the "selfies" were taken in her office in the Federal Palace, a 162-year-old domed building in Berne where Switzerland's government and parliament meet, according to Swiss daily Neue Zuercher Zeitung (NZZ). The unidentified woman, a secretary at the parliament, told the paper that the pictures did not violate guidelines for federal employees because they were part of her private life. The report did not say why she had posted the pictures. A spokesman for the government's human resources department said he had only learned of the case from Wednesday's news report. "Parliamentary services will have to decide, based on the specific circumstances, whether this case breaches good faith obligations between employer and employee," Anand Jagtap said. When asked if she worried that her colleagues might see the pictures, she said: "The issue is on my mind constantly."

Where 'new Porn Academy' is opens?

Top Five weird, funny and sizzling news of this week

QUEBEC CITY — A Quebec-based adult film Production Company that was having trouble recruiting male actors has opened an academy for budding porn stars. Pegas Productions is offering the intensive one-day training course for $149. Nicola Lafleur, a producer at Pegas, told QMI Agency that of 50 men who applied to take the course, only nine were admitted. "In their application they had to submit a picture of them with an erection," she said.  The workshop starts with a morning session on the ins and outs of the business. "Our goal," says Lafleur, "is to give them information that will allow them to know what it's really like to be a porn star. How much it pays, how often you work, how your health can be affected. We have to dispel all the myths." In the afternoon, an actor and an actress answer questions from the pupils and share their stories from the business. The actors then show them different sexual positions, and the students then have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with being on-set and with film equipment. "Students are allowed to try different sexual positions as well," says Lafleur, "but only simulations. We make them wear their underwear." Lafleur says the company got the idea for a class after a rookie actor who was working with them got a little "gun shy" on set. "He was nervous, and under a lot of pressure," Lafleur told QMI. "Perhaps if our course had been around he would have felt more comfortable." Lafleur believes this course to be a first in the adult film industry.
