Top 5-Woman pleads guilty to 'English Cow' insult
GARNDOLBENMAEN, Wales, April 29 (UPI) -- A Welsh woman who called a woman who had an affair with her father an "English cow" pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment. The court was told Elen Humphreys, 25, of Garndolbenmaen used the insult against Angela Payne when she went to Payne's house to collect some of her father's
belongings, The Daily Telegraph reported Monday."Leave well alone, you English cow," Humphreys was accused of saying to Payne. Andrew Hutchinson, Humphreys' attorney, said his client had been under stress because she had just discovered her father had been going "backwards and forwards" between Payne and Humphreys' mother, to whom he had been married for 32 years. "Emotions were running high," Hutchinson said. Humphreys was sentenced to a 12-month conditional release and was ordered to pay $77.48 in compensation to Payne.

Top 4-Strip clubs fail to stop bikini top ordinance
SAN ANTONIO, April 29 (UPI) -- A judge rejected a request from San Antonio strip clubs to block enforcement of a bikini-top ordinance they fear could "strip them of their profits."In a double entendre-filled ruling, Chief U.S. District Judge Fred Biery rejected the request from the 13 strip clubs, which are suing the city of San Antonio on grounds the ordinance, which requires dancers to wear bikini tops instead of nipple-covering pasties, violates their constitutional right to free expression, the San Antonio Express-News reported Monday. "The court infers plaintiffs fear enforcement of the ordinance would strip them of their profits, affecting their bottom line," the judge wrote. "Conversely, the city asserts these businesses contribute to reduced property values, violent crime, increased drug sales, prostitution and other sex crimes, and therefore need to be girdled more tightly. Plaintiffs, and by extension their customers, seek an erection of a constitutional wall separating themselves from the regulatory power of city government."
However, the judge wrote prior case law established "nudity and naughtiness" are not necessarily the same. "Should the parties choose to string this case out to trial on the merits, the court encourages reasonable discovery to intercourse as they navigate the peaks and valleys of litigation, perhaps to a happy ending," Biery wrote. The city's human display ordinance, amended last year, requires female breasts to be covered more thoroughly than with the pasties the clubs previously used. The ordinance says if the women are dressed in less than bikini tops, the clubs will qualify as sexually oriented business and be subjected to greater regulation.

Top 3-CBS blogger criticized for calling NBA cheerleader 'too chunky'
Writing anonymously in a post for CBS Houston, a blogger later identified as someone named Claire Crawford, asked whether Oklahoma City Thunder cheerleader Kelsey Williams looked "too chunky" during a game against the Houston Rockets. "The Rockets looked terrible in Game 1, but some say they weren't the only bad-looking people on the court," Crawford allegedly wrote in a post that has since been deleted, according to ABC News. There are still cached versions available online. "We’re not trying to be ugly. We are just discussing what men like in women, specifically NBA cheerleaders," the post went on.
Busted Coverage has a screen grab of the offending post, which included a poll asking users to weigh in on Williams' appearance. "What do you think? Is this chick “too chunky” to be a cheerleader?" Crawford asked. "Either way, I wish she had a little more up on top, if you know what I mean…"According to the Houston Chronicle, "Claire Crawford" is the pseudonym used by a woman named Anna-Megan Raley, who mostly writes relationship columns for CBS Houston. Jezebel pointed to her Twitter handle, JustDareClaire, an account that has since been deleted. Williams seems to be taking the comments in stride.
