Top 5-Woman calling 911 for cigarettes –Another stupid call
A Texas woman who was arrested after calling 911 to ask for cigarettes says she regrets dialing. Linda White, 48, called 911 at about 1 a.m. on Feb. 11, NCB Dallas-Fort Worth reported. “I need some cigarettes,” White can be heard saying in the 911 recording. She
tried to explain herself in an interview with NBC outside of her home on Tuesday. "We were just kicking it in the back yard -- a few beers too many," she said. "Next thing you know, we're out of cigarettes. Well, I didn't want to drive to town. ... I was drunk, you know, but in my back yard." She said she figured the police department was “the safest person to call,” rather than driving drunk in order to get smokes. Two police officers later arrived at her home to arrest and charge her with a misdemeanor count of abuse of 911. If found guilty, White could face a possible $2,000 fine and 180 days in jail. "I am deeply sorry for what I did," she said looking back at the incident. "I'm embarrassed. It's not me." She was only held for six hours and was released on bond. Now that it’s all over, she had an insight to share with anyone else looking to call 911 to ask for a favor: "They don't deliver -- they pick up.”

Top 3-Kid calls 911 to avoid bed-Not a good idea
A 10-year-old boy in Brockton, Mass., called 911 Wednesday because his mom told him to go to bed, the Enterprise newspaper reports. The boy placed the call at 8:09 p.m. with the intention of telling the dispatcher his mother was forcing him to go to bed even though he didn't want to. But instead of ratting out his mom, he got nervous and hung up on the 911 dispatcher. As per policy, the dispatcher called back to see what was wrong, and the boy's mother explained the situation. On the call, the mother can be heard telling the boy the police were on the phone, the Enterprise reports. She asked him if he still wanted to talk to the cops about his early bedtime. He didn't. Top 1-Mom charged after strippers perform at son’s birthday –Nice mom
An upstate New York mother has been charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly hiring strippers for her son's 16th birthday party at a bowling alley last November. Parents of some of the teenagers at the party went to police in South Glens Falls, N.Y., after photos of the party — and the dancers — surfaced on Facebook, the Saratoga County district attorney said in a release. The two strippers from Tops N' Bottoms allegedly performed lap dances on some of the teens. "As difficult as it may be for us to have to weigh in on these kinds of cases, certainly exposing the unsuspecting children to this sort of 'entertainment' goes beyond the pale when it comes to what is appropriate for 14, 15 and 16 year old child," district attorney James Murphy said in a press release. Judy H. Viger faces a maximum sentence of one year in jail if convicted.
