Top 4-Teacher suspended for sleeping during class

WESTON, Fla., May 22 (UPI) -- The Broward County (Fla.) School Board suspended a high school science teacher for two days without pay for allegedly falling asleep during class time. The board issued the suspension Tuesday to Patrick Geller, 42, a science teacher at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, after students snapped photos of him taking a short nap during a class period, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Wednesday. Geller told the school board he had been exhausted due to being up most of the night with a sleepless infant. The board ruled he failed to supervise his students and disrupted learning in the classroom, and suspended him for misconduct in office and incompetence.
People make mistakes but it's a safety issue, said Gracie Diaz, the district's chief human resource officer. "There's more intense pressure on educators." Geller, who has been with the district since 2002, has the option of appealing the suspension before an administrative judge.

Top 1-Man film girlfriend having fun with his son instead of ghosts

Man sets up video camera to film ghosts in kitchen - and catches girlfriend having sex with teenage son. A man who set up a hidden video camera to film paranormal activity in his kitchen accidentally caught his girlfriend having sex with his teenage son. Instead of capturing ghosts on camera, the father, from Tasmania, Australia, was horrified to find footage of his lover and 16-year-old son kissing and cuddling.
The 28-year-old woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to five counts of sex with a minor at the Supreme Court on Monday. She said she was “ashamed and embarrassed” by her actions and claimed she thought the age of consent was 16, when it is in fact 17. The court heard that, when the man confronted his partner of 11 years over the video recording, she tried to downplay the incident as an innocent cuddle. But his son confessed to having sex with her three times in the preceding days.It later emerged that the affair began when the woman, mother of the man’s young child, went into her stepson’s bedroom to discuss his driving lessons. Conversation turned to tickling which then became kissing and sex, Crown Prosecutor Jackie Hartnett told the court. She also told the court how the woman had taken the boy upstate where they had sex several times in a hotel room. After discovering the footage on his video camera, the man called police and his girlfriend was arrested.
She later confessed in a taped police interview to having sex with the boy and admitted knowing he was 16. Justice David Porter remanded the woman in custody and will sentence her on Monday, according to the Hobart Mercury.
