'Guns are welcome' sign at Tennessee restaurant causing business to shoot up

... are welcome' sign at Tennessee restaurant causing business to shoot up
MARYVILLE, Tenn., July 23 (UPI) --The owner of a Tennessee restaurant wants her customers to feel comfortable bringing guns into her family-friendly establishment and that attitude has caused business at the eatery to shoot up. Sharma Floyd posted a "Guns are Welcome" sign on the front door of Shiloh Brew and Chew in Maryville to let her patrons know she supports their constitutional right to bear arms even though she doesn't carry herself. Floyd got the idea for the sign after reading about a North Carolina business that got robbed at gunpoint after putting up a "No Weapons Allowed" sign. She does try to stop people with guns from drinking by asking people who order beer if they are carrying. "If they say 'Yes, I have an ankle strap on', I say 'Sorry, then you can't drink,'" Floyd told WBIR. "We sell very, very little beer here, but we do offer it. I don't have a liquor license. I won't get a liquor license." According to Floyd, the sign helped bring in more than 20 new customers, so she put up a few more. "I can honestly say I've gotten way more support than the one person who really gave me a lot of grief over it," said Floyd. "The 'Guns are Welcome' signs have helped boost business."

Man reports fake murder to avoid ticket

Man reports fake murder to avoid ticket
A Florida man called 911 to report a man with a gun was about to murder him in order to get out of a traffic ticket and it almost worked, police say. Just after Julius Lupowitz, 53, had been stopped by an officer on June 24 for speeding, two 911 calls were made where a man was asking for help because another man had a gun and "there was going to be a murder," West Melbourne Police said in a release Thursday. After the man hung up, dispatchers traced the phone number and alerted officers Lupowitz owned the phone. Officer Ted Salem, who had pulled Lupowitz over in the traffic stop, explained Lupowitz was not in any danger beyond getting a $210 ticket for speeding. Lupowitz faces a third-degree felony charge for misusing the 911 system. If guilty, he could be sentenced to five years in prison. He was also cited for speeding. West Melbourne is 100 km southeast of Orlando.

Man claims penis amputated instead of circumcised

Man claims surgeons AMPUTATED his penis without his permission during ...
An Alabama man who went in to a hospital last month for a circumcision awoke after surgery to find his penis had been amputated, his lawyer said on Thursday. Johnny Lee Banks Jr., 56, said in a lawsuit filed in state court earlier this week that no one at the Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, had told him why it had been necessary to remove his penis, according to his attorney, John Graves."My client is devastated," Graves said.
Banks, who is married and does not work due to a disability, did not recall the precise date of the incident but believed it occurred in June, his attorney said. The lawsuit does not specify a monetary value of the damages, Graves said. Named as defendants in the lawsuit are the hospital, the Simon-Williamson Clinic, Urology Centers of Alabama and two doctors, Graves said. Spokeswomen for the hospital, the clinic and Urology Centers of Alabama did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

JULY 21--A Florida couple was arrested last night for having sex on the beach in front of numerous individuals, including a four-year-old girl and a witness who recorded the sandy tryst with a camera phone, according to police.Elissa Alvarez, a 20-year-old waitress, and Jose Caballero, a 39-year-old personal trainer, were each busted for felony lewd and lascivious exhibition on Cortez Beach in Bradenton. Alvarez, seen at right, and Caballero were each released from jail today after posting $7500 bond.Cops were summoned to the beach by witness Emily Hall, who told officers that a Hispanic couple was “laying on a sheet next to her” when they “started to fondle each other.” In short order, Hall reported, the pair “started to have intercourse on the beach,” according to a probable cause affidavit. Hall said she was “very upset” because her four-year-old daughter “witnessed the couple having sex.” Six other witnesses filed complaint affidavits describing Alvarez’s and Caballero’s explicit beach performance. In fact, “One witness filmed the couple with a camera phone to be used as evidence for this complaint,” an officer noted. Alvarez and Caballero are scheduled for an August 8 court appearance. Caballero, seen at left, is a convicted felon who spent about eight years locked up on a cocaine trafficking conviction (he was released last year from a Florida prison).
According to her Twitter account, Alvarez is a sand enthusiast: “I think without the beach I seriously fall into a deep depression.” In a July 7 rumination, Alvarez noted, “Intimacy is very important in a relationship and I mean true genuine intimacy not just sex

How woman forget a fun toy in her vagina for 10 years?

record ... doctors said the woman had held a sex toy inside her vagina ...
Woman faced major health problems after leaving sex toy in vagina for a decade. A Scottish woman who went to the hospital after a dramatic weight loss was found to have a sex toy in her vagina that she had put there 10 years before, a report in the Journal of Sexual Medicine says. The 38-year-old woman had reportedly forgotten to remove it. The woman also complained of having trouble urinating and sepsis-like symptoms, the case study said. Surgeons at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Aberdeen, Scotland, removed a 11 cm-long sex toy from the woman. The sex toy caused major health issues, including vesicovagina fistula, where urine discharges into the vagina, and bilateral hydroureteronephrosis, when urine can't drain from the kidney to the bladder. She also lost weight and was lethargic. The case is "extremely rare but potentially life-threatening," the researchers said in the study, which appeared in the June edition of the journal.
