Top 5-Flight diverted after family complains about movie

A United Airlines flight was diverted after a family argued with the crew that Alex Cross, a detective thriller, is too violent and sexually explicit to be shown as an in-flight movie. In a letter to The Atlantic, the parents said they didn't want their four- and eight-year-
old children to see the PG-13 movie, but the flight attendants wouldn't comply with their request to turn off the fold-down screen. "Cruising at 30,000 feet, leaving was not an option," the family stated. The unnamed parents said the captain even came out to speak with them, and although they say the conversations were collegial, the flight from Denver to Baltimore was diverted to Chicago for "security issues." The family was questioned by border security, police and FBI, before being put on another flight. In a statement, United Airlines said it was reviewing its entertainment policies.

Top 4-Now dogs needs medical marijuana

Now that many U.S. states have legalized marijuana possession and use, a veterinarian says people aren't the only ones who should be able to benefit from the occasional puff - pot can also help dogs deal with chronic pain or other debilitating conditions. No, blowing pot smoke in your pooch's face is not cool, Dr. Doug Kramer says in an interview with the irreverent and often risque Vice magazine. But Kramer said after he "dosed" his dog Nikita, suffering from terminal cancer, she was up and around, and had a better quality of life until she reached the end. Medical marijuana can also be used to give cats the munchies. "We're using it on cats ... as an appetite stimulant," he said, noting how finicky felines get when they're sick. In fact, any animal with cannabinoid receptors - pigs, chickens, monkeys and rats, for instance -- could feel the effects of THC. But they wouldn't smoke it. They would receive it in a tincture or in food cooked in oil or butter made from cannabis.

Top 3-Scientists can read dreams

Scientists in Japan have discovered a way to read someone's dreams while they're sleeping. A team at the ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories in Kyoto used MRI machines to monitor people while they slept. When the subjects began to dream, the scientists woke them and had them describe what they saw. They did this 200 times and built a database of all the images that showed up in the dreams. Then, the same subjects looked at those images on a computer screen while the researchers mapped their brain patterns. When participants went back into the MRI machine for more sleep, the researchers predicted what they were dreaming about based on their brain patterns. They were accurate 60% of the time -- a percentage that should grow as more data is collected. "Dreaming is a subjective experience and we quickly forget the contents after awaking," lead author Yukiyasu Kamitani told the journal Science. "Our method ... could provide unambiguous interpretations about spontaneous neural activity."

Top 2-Woman, 26, Arrested For Extorting Money from Sugar Daddy

An online relationship that began on a “sugar daddy” web site ended in a series of extortionate demands by a Florida woman who threatened to distribute nude photos sent to her by the 56-year-old male victim, according to investigators. Stephanie Starling, 26, was arrested Monday in connection with her alleged shakedown of a married Las Vegas businessman identified in court records by his initials, “H.T.”As detailed in a felony extortion complaint, Starling, seen at right, met “H.T.” on sugardaddyforme.com, a “dating” web site that matches women in need of money and men with said money. “H.T.” told FBI agents that he joined the site (which charges up to $53.85 a month) in mid-2012 and “began an online relationship” with Starling in September or October.Starling, “H.T.” recalled, claimed to be a 21-year-old college student from Jacksonville. The photos she first shared with “H.T” actually depicted a blonde model who appeared in porno films. Starling is pictured above in an photo from her Facebook page.
During their initial communications, “H.T.” voluntarily agreed to send Starling $7000 to cover “various school and living expenses.” The pair also exchanged “several revealing and nude photographs of each other.” But while “H.T” sent Starling explicit photos of himself, she sent naked images of another woman she found online. Starling claimed she signed up to sugardaddyforme.com because she was “struggling to pay bills and feed” her young son. Starling, who said that “H.T.” “told me he wanted to have me as his side girlfriend,” told agents that she had relationships with “approximately five or six men” she met via the web site.

Top 1-Referees charged for 'Sex bribe’ in a soccer match

 referee
Three Lebanese soccer referees have been charged over allegations of receiving sexual bribes in exchange for fixing a match in Singapore, the government's anti-corruption bureau said. Referee Ali Sabbagh, and assistants Ali Eid and Abdallah Taleb, were charged before a district court for "corruptly" receiving sexual gratification "as an inducement" to fix the match they were to officiate on Wednesday, court documents showed. The charge sheets said the three committed an offence punishable under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The three had been due to officiate in Tampines Rovers' AFC Cup fixture with East Bengal when they were abruptly dropped and questioned by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB). Replacement officials were brought in for the game, which was won 4-2 by the Indian team. CPIB said in a statement on Thursday they had acted on "prior information of match fixing" involving the three referees. "Subsequent investigations revealed that the trio corruptly received gratification ... in the form of free sexual service from three females," the CPIB said in a statement. "Singapore has always adopted a zero tolerance approach towards corruption, and match fixing of any form is not condoned in Singapore," it said.
The CPIB added that it "investigates into match-fixing through bribery cases and will not hesitate to take action against any parties involved if they had given or received bribes to fix a match". Singapore has a long record of match-fixing scandals and criminals from the tiny but wealthy Southeast Asian country have been blamed by Europol for orchestrating an international network responsible for rigging hundreds of games worldwide. In February, Singapore came under pressure to act against the cartels, whose activities fuel illegal gambling estimated to be worth billions of dollars, when the head of Interpol called for the arrest of an alleged ringleader. Singapore police later said the suspect, Tan Seet Eng or Dan Tan, was assisting investigations, but he was not arrested or charged with any crime.

Top 5-Animal lovers angered by man who tattooed dog

An enthusiastic tattoo artist has drawn the ire of animal lovers after he tattooed his dog's belly. The photo of Duchess with the ink work is no longer on Ernesto Rogriguez's Facebook page for Planet Ink Tattoos, but plenty of vitriolic comments are still on his wall. "This is so sad," Laura Barlow wrote. "I feel terrible for any dog in your care."

"Please... do us all a favor ... don't ever have children," Judith Murga said. Rodriguez told WXII12-TV in Winston-Salem, N.C., that he'd sedated and anaesthetized the American Bully (related to a pit bull), and that he loves his dogs and takes care of them. That didn't stop Chyrece Cyd Ferry from commenting, "What a waste of oxygen .. douchebag. You give a bad name to all legit tattoo artists."But Rodriguez had his share of supporters, too, pointing out that dogs routinely have their ears docked or tails clipped -- not to mention their private bits spayed or neutered. The uproar prompted officials to investigate, but Rodriguez was vindicated in the end.

Top 4-Parrot's cries fool police into breaking into house

BROCKVILLE, Ont. — Police had every reason to fear someone was in distress when they heard what sounded like a woman’s screams coming from the intercom of a Brockville, Ont., apartment building on Sunday. But when they broke through the door, they found the perp was a parrot. Somehow, the intercom of Mary Brown’s apartment become stuck in the ‘on’ position and a passerby called police after hearing the parrot’s cries. Brown, 30, a local nurse, had just gone to bed after a 12-hour shift, when police broke through the door.  “I came out of my bedroom, screaming like a banshee,” she said. “The first thing they said was: ‘Oh, it’s the bird’ and sighed in relief. And I said: ‘Oh, it’s the police.’” Given the wide range of sounds her parrot, Gobbler, can make, Brown says she doesn’t fault the officers for their actions. “If I was the police officer, I would have probably used the same judgment,” added Brown.

An odd series of photos of a naked woman chasing a naked man holding a sex doll through the streets of Beijing is the latest Internet fascination in China. According to the South China Morning Post, the images have been spreading like wildfire on social media in the country, but nobody knows who they're of, whether they're staged or where they came from. "Is this a real-life Temple Run?" wrote one blogger, according to the Post, referring to a popular video game where the player takes on the role of an explorer stealing an idol from a temple and then gets chased by monsters.  Others speculated the images might be some kind of publicity stunt.

Top 1-Detective let suspected hooker service him during sting operation

APRIL 3--In the course of an undercover operation targeting a suspected prostitute, a Pennsylvania police officer disrobed, allowed the woman to place a condom on him, and then engaged in sexual activity with her before announcing that, “the cops were coming.” The unorthodox March 22 operation resulted in the arrest of Diana Gross, 26, on four prostitution-related charges. According to a criminal complaint, Gross placed an ad on Backpage.com offering her services as an escort. “By the end of your session with me Your once wished fantsay's will no longer just be dreams But finally your reality!,” the ad

promised. Gross is seen above in a photo from an escort ad. As detailed by Detective Ronald DePellegrin of the Homestead Police Department, he called the number and arranged a $145 half-hour session with Gross, who uses the alias “Beckie Dymon.”DePellegrin added that, at Gross’s request, he purchased baby wipes and condoms before meeting her at an apartment in Homestead, a borough outside Pittsburgh. After entering a bedroom, the 48-year-old DePellegrin reported, “Beckie asked me if I was a cop. I told her no and asked her if she was one. She told me no.” DePellegrin added that “Beckie” then removed her shirt, exposing her breasts, and “instructed me to touch her.” Which DePellegrin apparently did. She then “asked me if she could grab me. At this she grabbed my groin,” noted DePellegrin, who subsequently watched as “Becky” got “totally undressed.” After being directed to do the same, DePellegrin “disrobed” as “Beckie took a condom and placed it on me.” By this point, critics might argue, DePellegrin had clearly established probable cause that Gross was engaged in prostitution and other illegal acts. The late-afternoon encounter, however, continued.
Beckie started to perform oral sex on me when I said oh shit the cops are coming,” DePellegrin stated. “Beckie stopped performing the act and looked out the window.” With a break in the action, DePellegrin removed the condom, quickly dressed, and announced that he was a Homestead detective (and that “Beckie” was under arrest). After DePellegrin (seen at left) identified himself, the naked Gross tried to run from the room, but was detained by the cop. Along with cash that had been hidden inside a chair cushion, cops seized “syringes and other drug paraphernalia for the ingestion of heroin.” DePellegrin reported that these items “were viewed by me during my encounter with Gross.”In an interview, Gross’s lawyer, Michael Waltman, called DePellegrin’s actions “outrageous,” adding that a civil rights lawsuit against police is a possibility.

Escort posted naked pictures on a gravestone, Teacher Cheat for bonuses and Worker Busted for Calling 911 with Phony Robbery Report

Here Are World's Top Five Weird, Funny and Hot News of April 02, 2013

Top 5-Teachers turn themselves in for cheating (bonuses)

ATLANTA, April 2 (UPI) -- Atlanta educators began turning themselves in Tuesday to face allegations they changed students' test scores to earn bonuses, jail records showed. Former Atlanta school Superintendent Beverly Hall and 34 district educators were
indicted Friday on 65 counts of racketeering. The grand jury alleged Hall led a corrupt organization that gamed the system to earn bonuses by fraudulently raising students test scores. Hall earned more than $500,000 in performance bonuses as school superintendent, The New York Times reported. The educators had until 11 a.m. Tuesday to surrender to authorities, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Tameka Goodson, a school improvement specialist at Kennedy Middle School, surrendered at 12:30 a.m. at Fulton County Jail. She was booked on $200,000 bond and was charged with racketeering, and making false statements and writings, jail records indicate. Donald Bullock, a testing coordinator at Usher-Collier Heights Elementary School, turned himself in just before 6 a.m., accompanied by his attorney. He was charged with racketeering and three counts of false statements and writings, the newspaper reported.
At around 7 a.m., Theresia Copeland, former Benteen Elementary testing coordinator, turned herself in, WSB-TV, Atlanta, reported. She was charged with violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations act, theft by taking, and two counts of false statements and writings. At least two other former teachers attempted to turn themselves in Monday, though a spokeswoman for Fulton District Attorney Paul Howard said defendants must surrender "on Tuesday," not before. Investigators said nearly 180 educators, including more than three dozen principals, took part in the cheating on state curriculum tests that came to light in 2011, the Journal-Constitution reported. "If a school achieved 70 percent of more of its targets, all employees at the school received a bonus," the indictment said. "Additionally, if certain system-wide targets were achieved, Beverly Hall herself received a substantial bonus." Hall's bail was set at $7.5 million, the newspaper said

Top 3-Bacon-flavoured condoms coming

TORONTO -- Think the bacon craze is over? Think again. A Seattle-based company launched bacon condoms and bacon sunscreen this week, proving bacon isn't a trend but rather a fact of life. "Each year 5 billion condoms are sold worldwide, 450 million in the U.S. alone, and exactly zero look, taste or feel like bacon - until now," bacontrepreneurs Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow said in a press release. The pair are behind Bacon Salt seasoning and have created Baconnaise, MMMvelopes and the less-appetizing-sounding Bacon Lip Balm. The sunscreen boasts SPF 30 to protect skins from UV rays. "Science has shown us that 10 out of 10 people prefer the smell of bacon to coconut, which makes this the most anticipated new product of the summer," the tongue-in-cheek release states.A 118 mL bottle will set you back about $10, and is available for pre-order at baconsunscreen.com. Orders are expected to ship out in June. The three-pack of condoms - touted as "the new standard of animal-protein-themed prophylactics" - is also about $10 and is already on back order at baconcondoms.com.

Top 2-A Worker Busted For Calling 911 with Phony Robbery Report

In one of the day’s dumbest April Fool’s Day pranks, a Waffle House worker allegedly called 911 to falsely report that the eatery had just been robbed. According to police, Susan Alexandria Tinker, 20, called around 6 AM to claim that the Hampton, Virginia eatery had been robbed. However, after officers arrived at the purported crime scene, they came to a different conclusion. “Responding officers investigated the incident and determined that the complaint was a fabrication in celebration of ‘April Fool’s Day,'” investigators noted in a media release. Tinker, pictured in the above mug shot, was arrested for falsely summoning police. If convicted of the misdemeanor count, she faces a maximum of 12 months in jail and a fine of up to $2500. It is unclear how Tinker thought she could get away with the prank.

Top 1-Escort posted naked pictures of herself clambering over a gravestone

Bartholomew Church, Goodnestone, Faversham

A vicar has suggested there is a ‘time and a place’ to celebrate the beauty of the human body after an escort posted naked pictures of herself clambering over a gravestone at a Kent village church. The woman, known only as Gemma, 22, from Margate, posted nude photos of herself inside the Grade I 15th century listed Bartholomew Church, Goodnestone, Faversham, to a website in a bid to entice would-be clients. As well as
St Bartholomew Church, Faversham, Dover, escort

pictured on all-fours over a grave and crucifix, Gemma – who describes herself as ‘filthy’ and offering ‘domination and sensual fetish sessions’ – can be seen straddling the alter. Reverend Andy Bawtree pointed out to the Dover Express: ‘Although God made the human body a beautiful thing, there is a time and a place for it.’
He added: ‘I think this is just sad that this young lady has decided to use the church, which is a big part of the community as it houses the post office, in this manner. ‘It’s a place of joy and worship. Surely there’s a better place to meet people.’ A spokesman for Churches Conservation Trust, which manages the building, said: ‘We’re very sorry to hear pictures of this nature have been taken at our church without our permission. ‘Our churches are open to all as heritage attractions and places of peace and calm. ‘We expect visitors to treat the buildings with the respect they deserve, as well as being respectful of the local community and their use of these buildings.’
